Turns out I actually really love California. Maybe next time Kory gets a job offer here I won't be so hesitant. I really just love the being at the beach. I also really love my amazing friends Corie and Ian. I am one luck lady!

Last night we had a surprise party for a very special gal. Her name is Michelle and she is just wonderful! If anyone deserves a party in their honor, it is Michelle. She is the kindest, sweetest person ever! My dear friend Janaea was the master behind the party and seriously, if you ever need a party planned call her. It was perfect!

I really never thought I'd ever get a chance to see System of a Down in concert. I've been listening to them since I was probably eleven years old. I blame/thank my big brother for this. I love their sound and their political views... well most of them. Serj (lead singer) very publicly sings against violence and injustice in the world. They are very anit-war, pro-peace like me! I had a ton of fun at the show. Janaea and Sammy are very dear friends, and I am so glad we got to go together.

Today is my beautiful, talented, loving, intelligent, Mothers birthday. I seriously love my mom and I am so lucky to have her in my life. She has taught me so much, and continues to teach me. She cares about and loves me only the way a mother could. She has sacrificed so much for me and truly would do anything for me. I admire how much she loves her Heavenly Father and has taught me to trust in Him always. Gracias por todo que has hecho por mi. Te quiero hasta la luna, ida y vuelta.
